Following the introduction of the new Raider 125, TVS Motor Company is preparing to unveil a new scooter on October 7th. While the business is keeping quiet about the new launch, we have reason to think that the new two-wheeler will be a 125cc scooter, most likely the Jupiter 125. If rumours are accurate, the new Jupiter 125 will take on competitors such as the Honda Activa 125, Hero Maestro Edge 125, and Suzuki Access 125 in the segment. The invitation for the company's next two-wheeler includes the slogan "Come experience the more," which might indicate that consumers would receive "more" of everything with the Jupiter 125, such as power, torque, and features. The two-wheeler company has also released a teaser photograph showing the vehicle's LED DRLs. These DRLs may be mounted on the scooter's front apron. A 124.8 cc single-cylinder fuel-injected motor taken from the NTorq 125 might be at the core of the forthcoming scooter. At 7,000 rpm, this engine produces 9.1 bhp and 10.5 Nm of peak torque, while at 5,500 rpm, it produces 10.5 Nm of peak torque. The engine is connected to a CVT transmission. A digital screen, external fuel filling, quiet start, and TVS Connect mobile App with capabilities such as navigation assist, top speed recorder, in-built lap-timer, and others are expected in the forthcoming Jupiter 125. Sudarshan Venu, Joint Managing Director of TVS Motor Company, earlier told PTI about the possibilities of the 125 cc sector in India "In the motorbikes category, the 125 cc segment has risen at a CAGR of over 20% over the last five years. We plan to capitalize on TVS' strong position and innovative goods in this market. It's a profitable segment as well as a prospective growth area."
