New Delhi: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is conducting simultaneous raids in Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Delhi, Chandigarh, Punjab, Gujarat, and Madhya Pradesh in connection with the gangster terror funding case. According to the report, there are a total of 70 such locations, where NIA raids are going on. The raids were conducted at the hideout of the gangster and his close associates. According to the report, this NIA raid is being done about gangsters and their syndicates spread across all states. Earlier last year, the NIA had conducted simultaneous raids in many states of the country including Delhi-NCR. Gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi, Neeraj Bawana, Tillu Tajpuria, and Goldie Brar are already the target of the NIA. The agency has also questioned many gangsters in this case. In October 2022, the NIA raided more than 50 locations in north India and Delhi. After this, the agency also arrested a gangster and a lawyer. On Saturday (February 18), the NIA raided the houses of state office bearers of the radical Islamic organization Popular Front of India (PFI). The raids were conducted at several locations in Rajasthan, including Jaipur, Kota, and Sawai Madhopur. One raid and action is being conducted by the NIA in the case of promoting hatred between religious groups and carrying out terrorist activities.
