Kidnapper shot dead nine-year-old boy, police arrested

Early Thursday morning, the police arrested the nine-year-old boy. In a tragic incident, a nine-year-old boy from Krishna Colony of Mahabubabad town kidnapped on Sunday evening was killed in the hills of the town's outskirts early On Thursday. The boy's burnt body was identified by police and kidnappers, including a close relative of the boy, were arrested in connection with the kidnapping and murder. It is recalled here that the eldest son of Ranjit Reddy, a news contributor to the local news channel, Kusuma Dixit Reddy (9) and Vasant, a resident of krishna colony in the town, were kidnapped by unidentified persons on Sunday evening. This prompted parents to contact the police to find the boy. Subsequently, SP Koti Reddy has formed several police teams by task force and CCS and pressed for action to nab the kidnappers. Meanwhile, the kidnapper called at 11 a.m. wednesday. Following this, the boy's father collected some cash and followed the kidnapper's instructions and went to the 'three crore' area and waited till night. But he didnot turn. Meanwhile, the police were able to catch the kidnappers early Thursday. The kidnappers were known to the boy's father.
