A group of robbers has looted a truck carrying mobile phones from Sriperumpudur, Tamil nadu to Mumbai. It is a shocking incident, the robbers stopped the container truck moving towards mumbai from its manufacturing plant in Sriperupudur Industrial SIPCOT area, Tamil Nadu near Hosur, a major city located in the border of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka on October 21, 2020.

The MI mobile has its manufacturing unit in Sriperumpudur is transporting its finished products to Mumbai. The robbers looted the phones which is on transportation and the worth is INR 15 crore. The sources said, in the early morning around 2 AM in the deserted are of the Bangalore-Salem Highway the robbers blocked the truck and beaten up the driver Arjun and his assistant Kumar both hails from Tamil Nadu. The robbers after beaten the driver and his assistant to death dragged them to the nearby forest and tied them in a tree. They drove the truck and setup placard showing the lorry had developed some technical problems. The gang looted the entire truck and left the truck in the highway.

 A passerby on hearing the sounds of Kumar and Arjun has informed the police about the affected people. Police recovered them, upon investigation the robbery was known and they have collected fingerprint evidences from the truck and is under investigation to find the people. However, how did the robbers came to know about the truck and who has helped them will help Policemen to find the stolen Mobiles.
