New Delhi: There is a turning point in the Nirbhaya case that has been going on since 2012. But seeing the hanging date coming closer, Nirbhaya's convict Vinay has started using different techniques in jail. He is trying to show himself ill. On Friday, February 21, 2020, he blew the senses of the jail authorities, saying that he had swallowed a pin and blood was coming from his mouth. Immediate information was given to senior officials about this incident. After this, he was medically examined and x-rayed. Vinay's claim was proved wrong after the report came out. Prison officials say the four convicts are perfectly fit.
According to the information received, it has been learned that Nirbhaya's culprits are to be hanged on 3 March 2020. The guilty have lost sleep over it. The guilty Vinay is more upset about this and is constantly trying to show himself ill. A few days ago he tried to harm himself by banging his head on the wall. Now he has claimed to swallow the pin. According to jail sources, the culprits know that they can be hanged only if they are physically and mentally fit. Their hanging can be postponed if they are declared unwell in the medical report.
It is also being said that the guilty are trying to take advantage of this. In this regard, the jail authorities say that all the convicts are completely healthy. Their medical checkup is being done every day. Counseling is also being done.
