Nirbhaya's anniversary today, mother pledges to fight for justice to all rape victims

New Delhi: Today is the anniversary of the Nirbhaya case which shook the country. On this occasion Nirbhaya's mother, Asha Devi said that my daughter has got justice, but that does not mean that I will sit silent. I will keep fighting to bring justice to all the rape victims. The four convicts of Nirbhaya were recently hanged on the gallows.

Nirbhaya's mother Asha Devi said that the daughter has got justice and four convicts have been hanged. After 2012 I fought for 8 years. We will continue to fight for the justice of other girls too. What we used to do every year, we will not be able to do this year because of the corona, but the program will be organized through the online medium.

How will such crimes with women stop? Answering this question, Nirbhaya's mother Asha Devi said that there is no delay in law in anyone's heart. The government and the administration should remove any loopholes in the law. Look at the Hathras case, only when our system and the government will work responsibly, only the crimes happening with women and girls will be curbed.
