NEW DELHI: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will go to Mumbai on Monday for a two-day visit, where she will attend a post-budget meeting with a number of Maharashtra stakeholders. In a tweet, the Ministry of Finance said, "FM will have a post-#Budget2022 meeting with stakeholders from Maharashtra, belonging to industry and trade, significant tax payers & chosen experts." The engagement will begin at 10.30 a.m. on Monday, according to the post. The Budget for FY-23 increased capital expenditure by 35.4 percent to Rs 7.5 lakh crore in order to keep the public infrastructure programme on track, which will help the economy grow by creating new employment and attracting private investment. Sitharaman has already met with a number of industrial groups in Delhi since her Budget address on February 1.
