West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann have refused to attend the NITI Aayog meeting. CMs of all the states and union territories are to be included in the Governing Council of the commission. But, CM Kejriwal has announced the boycott of the NITI Aayog meeting to be held on Saturday. This information has been given by writing a letter to PM Modi in this regard. Kejriwal has said that a mockery is being made of cooperative federalism by bringing the ordinance. In such a situation, there is no point in attending the meeting of NITI Aayog. The CM of Delhi says that people say that such meetings should not be attended, so they are boycotting this meeting. Kejriwal has also said in the letter that the objective of NITI Aayog is to prepare the vision of India and promote cooperative federalism. But, here governments are being toppled and broken. This is neither the vision of India nor cooperative federalism. At the same time, Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee is also not attending the meeting of NITI Aayog, Bengal Finance Minister Chandrima Bhattacharya has told the reason for this because of busy work. He said that in view of this, the Central Government has turned down the request to send me and the Chief Secretary. At the same time, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar is also not going to the NITI Aayog meeting. He has declined to attend the meeting due to pre-scheduled engagements. PM Modi will lead the meeting. The Chief Ministers of the states have to participate in this. The state government has authorized Finance Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary to attend the meeting instead of CM Nitish. What issues will be discussed in the NITI Aayog meeting:- 8 issues will be discussed prominently in the commission meeting of NITI Aayog. These issues are - Developed India @ 2047, Thrust on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), infrastructure and investment, reducing compliance, women empowerment, health and nutrition, skill development, and development of the sector and social infrastructure.
