No hospital can refuse to treat Corona patient: CM Kejriwal

New Delhi: Delhi's Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday held a press conference, targeting the private hospitals that are doing treatment for Corona. He said that all the hospitals built on the government land will have to treat the patients of Corona, the government will take strict action against the hospitals who deny it.

Arvind Kejriwal said that even in the time of crisis, some hospitals are marketing blacks of beds. I want to warn them that such hospitals will not be spared at all. Hospitals are built to get treatment, not to earn money. Along with this, he said that the owners of these hospitals have a good hold in all the big parties, so these hospitals are refraining from treating the patients of Corona on the strength of their political masters. I want to tell everyone clearly that no such hospital will be spared at all.

CM Kejriwal said that despite reporting that beds are available on the Delhi Corona app, some hospitals are refusing to give beds to patients. At the same time, there are some hospitals which are selling these beds reserved for the treatment of corona for millions of rupees. Kejriwal said that to stop this hooliganism of hospitals, the government has decided to place a representative of the Delhi government at the admission counter of these hospitals.
