Heavy rain is wreaking havoc over the country. In the past month, floods have worsened in many areas including Assam, Bihar, and there has been waterlogging in some areas of UP. Now roads have broken in many areas of Uttarakhand, the river is seen flowing for many kilometers. Dangerous scenes have emerged from the Mussoorie areas of the state and its surrounding areas. Apart from these, in the capital Delhi too, it has been raining intermittently for a long time. There was a lot of rain last night too, which has made life very busy. High alert has been issued by the Meteorological Department at many places for today. The weather is expected to remain bad in the coming days. The overnight and morning heavy rain in Delhi brought much needed relief from the hot weather on Thursday. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the sky will be generally cloudy with heavy rains during the day in the national capital. The weather forecast has predicted 'light to moderate rainfall' for many areas adjoining Delhi including Noida, Greater Noida, Gurugram and Ghaziabad. IMD tweeted on Thursday morning, 'Light to moderate rain intensity over parts of Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida, Rohtak, Jind, Narwana, Meham, Gurugram, Manesar, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Palwal, Hodal, Bulandshahar, Gulothi, Gulal, Gullathi.'
