AHMEDABAD: On Monday (November 28) in Gujarat's Surat, there was news of stone pelting during Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's 'roadshow'. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo Kejriwal himself had also claimed that stones were pelted during his roadshow. However, the Surat police have denied the incident of stone pelting, denying Kejriwal's claim. Police say that no stone was thrown during CM Kejriwal's rally and the rally passed peacefully. According to reports, DCP (Zone-3) Pinakin Parmar has told that complete arrangements were made by Surat Police for CM Arvind Kejriwal. This rally was taken out from Bapa Sitaram Chowk to Sai Baba Mandir in the Katargam area for a distance of 4 km. Kejriwal was given Z+ security cover for the four-kilometer roadshow. Along with this, he was also provided security of CAPF. The rally ended peacefully. The DCP further said that the police had received information about stone pelting at his rally, but it was just a rumor. No such incident has happened.
