New Delhi: On the occasion of the sixth anniversary of the Nobel Peace Prize to Kailash Satyarthi for children, India for Children and Kailash Satyarthi Children's Foundation (KSCF) under the Leadership Dialogue for Children organized a discussion on the topic 'Importance and Protection of Child Rights' during Corona Epidemic. Former MP and Asia Convenor, Parliamentarians without Border KC Tyagi and Rajya Sabha Member Ami Yajnik were also present in the discussion. The discussion was moderated by Lok Sabha TV's senior anchor Anurag Punetha. Participating in the discussion, KC Tyagi said that as an Indian, we feel proud when Kailash Satyarthi gets the Nobel Peace Prize. Corona is the biggest epidemic in the history of the world after 1918, while it has also caused the biggest recession since 1930. Factories were closed. Business has come to a complete standstill. He said that Corona has made the children the most victims. There has been a reduction in the number of child labourers in India, but still, more than 10 million child labourers are employed in the country. Due to the closure of schools in the Corona period, children are not getting the facility of mid-day meal, which is causing malnutrition in them. They will be dwarf and their physical development will stop. The Internet has done the job of increasing pornography. He further said that Corona has also increased child pornography. The government should immediately stop it. Now the old pattern will not work and there is a need to create a cultural-social environment against it.
