Noida Int’l Airport will create job proespects for over 1 lakh people: Scindia

Uttar Pradesh: Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya M Scindia announced on Thursday that the Noida International Airport will employ more than 1 lakh people.On the occasion of the foundation stone laying ceremony for Noida International Airport, the Union Minister stated that Uttar Pradesh will soon have 17 airports.

"The Noida International Airport will be a multi-modal connectivity hub that will bring Rs 60,000 crore in investments to Uttar Pradesh. More than 1 lakh people will be able to find work as a result of it. Soon, the state of Ayodhya would have 17 airports, including an international airport "Scindia stated. "I congratulate all of you on Jewar airport," he added, thanking Prime Minister Narendra Modi.  In Jewar, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today lay the foundation stone for the Noida International Airport (NIA).

Yamuna International Airport Private Limited (YIAPL), a 100 percent subsidiary of the project's Swiss concessionaire Zurich International Airport AG, is building the airport.

In close collaboration with the governments of Uttar Pradesh and India, Yamuna International Airport Pvt Ltd (YIAPL) is establishing Noida International Airport as a public-private partnership (PPP).
