New Delhi: Indigo Airline has decided to start operation of 4 new flights with a view to boost flight connectivity in North East India. Under the decision, Indigo Airline will start operating four new non-stop flights from Delhi to Agartala and Dibrugarh. These flights will start operating from August 14. Airlines have started booking tickets for these flights. According to Indigo Airline, Indigo is the first airline to start a direct flight from Delhi to Agartala. Earlier, passengers had to change flights to Kolkata to go to Agartala. That wasted about one-and-a-half hours. After the direct flight starts on August 14, passengers will be able to fly direct between the two destinations. According to Indigo, the code 6E-2047 of the direct flight from Delhi to Agartala has been prescribed. The flight will take off from Delhi to Agartala at 1:45 p.m. and land at Agartala at 4.20 p.m. Flight 6E-2048 from Agartala to Delhi will take off at 4:50 p.m. and arrive at Delhi Airport at 7:25 p.m. Airlines have fixed a fare of Rs 3999 for Agartala from Delhi.
