Tensions may escalate again between Trump and Kim Jong-un, North Korea test-fired missile

WASHINGTON: North Korea has once again tested missiles. On Saturday, Two unidentified projectile missiles were launched by North Korea into the sea. According to South Korea's news agency Yonhap, North Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff has confirmed the missile test. Earlier, such missiles were launched from the North Korean capital, Pyongyang.

South Korea's military said the missile was launched from the North Korean city of Hamhang into the eastern sea. It is also known as the sea of Japan. The army was monitoring the operation, said the Joint Chiefs of Staff from Yonhap. Earlier on Tuesday, two missiles were test-fired by North Korea.

The South Korean military had said that these are short-range ballistic missiles. The test is said to have been a demonstration of power against military exercises that began between the U.S. and South Korea since Monday. Yonhap news agency quoted joint chief of staff (JCS) as saying that the tests were conducted at 5.24 a.m. and 5.36 a.m. from The Quill, North Korea's South Korean province of South Korea.
