BEIJING: With India's removal from Section 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan is now spreading its hand to the international community, but it is feeling frustrated everywhere. Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, who visited China on Friday to discuss the issue, has been advised by China to refrain from escalating tensions on Pakistan and not to further damage its relations with India.

Pakistan's Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has visited China to discuss with the Chinese leadership India's decision to revoke Section 370 of the Constitution granting special statehood to Jammu and Kashmir. Before leaving for Beijing on Friday morning, Qureshi said, "India is determined to disrupt regional peace by its unconstitutional means."

Qureshi said, "China is not only a friend of Pakistan, but also a big country in the region. He will trust China's leadership on the situation." Qureshi was accompanied by Foreign Secretary Sohail Mahmood and other top officials. The Indian government on Monday diluted Section 370 of the Constitution granting special status to Jammu and Kashmir.
