Setback to Pak from UNSC over Kashmir issue

New Delhi: Pakistan has been bewildered after the Indian government removed Section 370 from Jammu and Kashmir. Pakistan has sent a letter to the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) on the issue. But Pakistan has suffered a setback from the UNSC over the issue. The UNSC has so far not responded to Pakistan's letter. UN Security Council President Joanna Ronka has categorically refused to respond to Pakistan's claim that India's historic decision violates the UNSC resolution.

At the same time, Pakistan has also received major setback from the US. The U.S. State Department has categorically stated that there will be no change in U.S. policy on Kashmir. Us State Department spokesman Morgan Ortagus, while answering questions from the press, made it clear that there will be no change in US policy in Kashmir.

He said, there are a lot of issues between India and Pakistan. He also said that Pakistani PM Imran Khan had recently visited the US. But he did not come to Kashmir. Kashmir is an issue that we are looking at very closely. But there are also a number of issues on which we are working very closely with India and Pakistan.
