Dehradun: The Pushkar Singh Dhami government of Uttarakhand has lifted the ban on entry of devotees into the sanctum sanctorum of Shri Kedarnath Dham. Now devotees will be able to visit Baba Kedarnath by going to the sanctum sanctorum. At the same time, this time the number of devotees visiting the temple has broken the previous record. Let us know that in May-June this year, due to the arrival of devotees in record numbers, entry to the sanctum sanctorum was banned and devotees used to have darshan of Baba Kedarnath from the Sabhamandap itself. Now, after the number has been reduced, the ban has been lifted. This year, till the night of Thursday (June 30, 2022), 9,01,081 devotees had come to visit Shri Badrinath Dham and 8,31,600 devotees visited Shri Kedarnath Dham. Along with this, the time of darshan in the temple has also been changed. The darshan at the Shri Kedarnath temple began at 5 am instead of 4 am on Friday (July 1, 2022). At the same time, from 3 pm to 4:45 pm, there will be cupboards for enjoyment-worship and cleaning, while in the evening, after the makeup puja, the cupboards will be closed at 9 pm.
