New Delhi: Controversial website AltNews co-founder Mohammed Zubair does not seem to be getting relief at the moment. Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Snigdha Sarvaria heard the matter. During the hearing, public prosecutor Atul Srivastava told the court that the accused needed to be taken into custody and interrogated. Because Zubair is not cooperating in the interrogation. Atul Srivastava also told the court that the police have also registered fresh cases against Zubair under sections 120B (criminal conspiracy) and 201 (destruction of evidence) of the IPC and section 35 of the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act. During the hearing of the case, Zubair's lawyer Vrinda Grover told the court that she feared that the electronic goods seized by Zubair could be tampered with. At the same time, when his phone was seized, Zubair took out the SIM and put another mobile phone.
