Good news! Users can have fun on Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram while ongoing Tokyo Olympics 2020

Facebook has announced that users will be able to enjoy tokyo olympics 2020 through new features on their main platforms Instagram and WhatsApp to help users cheer up discover content and their teams. In select countries, fans will have access to live games from Tokyo 2020 through the Facebook page and Instagram account of official Olympic broadcasters, with highlight, athlete profiles and sports.

It includes NBC Universal in the US, Eurosport for parts of Europe and BIN in the Middle East and North Africa. Fans in select areas, including India, Russia, sub-Saharan Africa and Spanish-speaking Latin America, can see the highlights of the day from Tokyo on the official Olympic Facebook page, the company said on Friday.

On Facebook, users can view official Olympic broadcast partners, team and athlete interviews, interpreters of new competitions for sports, Olympic history, as well as friends' posts and much more. Through augmented reality (AR) effects on Instagram, fans can get a unique experience in both stories and reels. Additionally Reels on the Instagram account will take fans behind the scenes with 11 Olympians as they prepare for Tokyo, the company said.
