Kolkata: After the arrival of NRC in Assam, now the demand for NRC has also increased in the neighboring state of West Bengal. BJP leaders have launched a campaign to implement the National Register of Citizens in the state. The ruling TMC is strongly opposed to it. The head of the state, Mamta Banerjee, clearly said that at any cost, she will not allow the NRC to be implemented in the state. Mamta gave a big statement on this issue and claimed that people in the state have been frightened by it. In which about 11 people have committed suicide due to fear of losing their citizenship.
