Material required

Oats - 1/2 cup Yellow moong dal - 2 tbsp Cumin seeds (Whole) - 1/2 teaspoon Red chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon Tomato-1 Lemon juice - 1/2 teaspoon Green Chili - 2-3 Garlic paste - 1 small spoon Coriander leaves - 1 tablespoon

Method of preparation: To make oats khichdi, first of all, soak the yellow moong dal in water for some time. To make oats khichdi, keep it in medium heat to heat a pan. Then add cumin seeds and fry it. Add garlic and green chili paste and fry it. Now add onion and tomatoes and cook till it becomes soft. Then add the moong dal to it and mix it well. If you want, you can add your favorite vegetables like carrots, capsicum, beans, etc. by cutting it into small pieces. Oats khichdi becomes even more healthy by adding these vegetables. Then add oats to it and also add water to it. Now cover it and cook it for 2 minutes only.
