Observatory said airstrike kills 19 Iran-backed militias in Syria

BEIRUT: Syria has always been a very sensitive place. Syria again makes headlines with airstrikes. The airstrikes are likely to be carried out by Israel.

The recent airstrikes killed almost 9 pro-Iran militia fighters. These strikes were reported in war-torn eastern Syria, on November 26 as said by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. It was reported in the early morning. The strikes hit positions of Iran-backed militias outside the town of Albu Kamal in the Deir Ezzor region. The observatory says the killing recorded was of 19 fighters mostly foreign.

Israel rarely recognizes individual strikes but the Observatory has blamed it for launching two aerial attacks against pro-Iran forces in Syria since Saturday.
