To promote air connectivity-enhance into Odisha, State Govt has agreed to provide financial support for AirAsia’s direct flight operation between Bhubaneswar and Pune for three months. Apart from improving connectivity, it will give a boost to tourism and investor footfall. Odisha Government has decided to extend financial assistance for three months to boost up Air Asia’s special flight operation to and fro Bhubaneswar-Pune. This was announced today by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. Taking to his official Twitter handle, the Chief Minister tweeted, “The State Government will provide financial assistance for the initial three months in a bid to facilitate special flight operation by Air Asia for the Bhubaneswar-Pune air route so that the people reap the benefit.” “This flight service will prove to be significant for augmenting both tourism and economic prospects of Odisha,” Chief Minister tweeted.
