Bhubaneswar: The train accident near Bahanaga Bazar station in Balasore, Odisha has shocked the whole country. On Friday (June 2) evening, the news of the accident came out in pieces. The number of dead has changed to 120 at midnight and has reached 280. According to the figures revealed so far, 900 people are injured. There was a scream throughout the night in the Bahanaga Bazar area. According to the information, many bodies are still trapped in the debris of the train coaches. Many AC coaches of the Coromandel Express had derailed and overturned, so the death toll is the highest. While the NDRF had to use gas cutters to retrieve the bodies stuck between the coaches, there are many injured who are trapped in the damaged coaches. Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has declared a one-day state mourning in the state on June 3 over the train accident on Friday. Therefore, there will be no celebration of any kind on June 3 in the entire state. The Information and Public Relations Department of Odisha has given information in this regard.
