New Delhi: Amid the war between the Arvind Kejriwal government and Lieutenant Governor (LG) VK Saxena, Deputy CM Manish Sisodia has filed an affidavit in the apex court complaining about the officers. In his affidavit, Sisodia has said that officers do not pick up our calls and do not even come to meetings. In fact, an affidavit filed by Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia in the apex court on Wednesday (November 9) has listed many issues of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government. Sisodia has said in his affidavit that, 'The officers have stopped coming to the meeting, do not even pick up our phone, disobey the orders of the ministers and behave indifferently with the elected government.' The deputy CM's affidavit said the problem has become even more acute with the appointment of LG VK Saxena earlier this year. The affidavit states that 'any association between civil servants and an elected government is sought to be punished and dissatisfaction with the government is being encouraged.' It is noteworthy that Saxena took charge as LG in May 2022, after which there is a conflict between his office and the elected government on many issues. The affidavit has been filed in connection with the Delhi government's dispute with the Center over who has control over the services in Delhi. On July 12, the apex court had agreed to set up a five-judge Constitution Bench to hear legal issues on the scope of legislative and executive powers of the Center and the Delhi government over the control of administrative services in Delhi.
