Srinagar: Former Jammu and Kashmir CM and National Conference leader Omar Abdullah on Friday informed that he has been found corona positive. He informed about this from his official Twitter handle. It may be recalled that Abdullah recently took the first dose of the corona vaccine. Omar Abdullah wrote in his tweet that for the past year I have tried my best to avoid the virus, but I finally got infected. Abdullah further said that I have become infected with corona, although I have no symptoms of the corona. Abdullah explained that on the advice of doctors he is in home isolation and is constantly monitoring oxygen levels and other essentials. Earlier Omar Abdullah's father and former CM Farooq Abdullah were also found corona positive. Giving details of which Omar tweeted that my father has become infected with corona, he is showing some symptoms, unless we get our selves tested, I quarantined myself with other family members, I urge everyone who has come in contact with us in the last few days to take necessary precautions. Former CM Farooq Abdullah also took the first dose of corona vaccine on March 2 at the Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences in Srinagar. After which they were found to be infected with corona. For a year I did my best to dodge this damn virus but it?s finally caught up with me. I tested positive for #COVID?19 this afternoon.
