Admissions can now be taken in colleges through new technologies

Chandigarh: Technical Education Minister Anil Vij inaugurated the online admission process started by the ministry for engineering degrees and diploma courses for 2020-21. Due to which the students are going to be given an opportunity to get themselves admitted in these subjects at home. Vij says that due to the circumstances arising due to the coronavirus, at present, it is becoming difficult for the students to go to various institutions and complete the admission process, whereas their certificate verification without the original certificates is not possible.

To simplify this situation, the State Technical Education Department has prepared a special software with the help of National Informatics Center Haryana. Which is going to be used for admission process this time. This software will not only be accepted online. But with the help of Digi Locker, their certificates will also have to be verified. By which it will be possible for students to take admission even if they do not have physical presence. The Technical Education Minister said that there are currently 37 state polytechnics and 4 aided institutes in Haryana, in which diploma courses in 36 different trades have been issued.

36 trades, 3 thousand 131 seats and 810 seats of Vocation Diploma: Online admission process for engineering degree and diploma course has been started by Haryana, Ministry of Technical Education. Technical education minister Anil Vij launched it. Now in Haryana, admission process has started in 4 aided institute with 37 state polytechnic institute. In which, along with diplomas of 36 different trades, 13131 seats of engineering diploma and 810 seats of vocational diploma course will be given admission. Apart from this, admission to about 26000 seats of Diploma of Engineering in 151 self financed institutes will also be done.
