Amazon said that with the increase in online orders, the company is going to hire 100,000 people. Amazon said the people will be hired for a part-time and full-time job. These new workers will assist in packing, shipping and sorting orders. The company has given jobs to 1 lakh 75 thousand people at the beginning of this year. Amazon said these jobs are in addition to their holiday hiring. Amazon has said that they need staff for sorting and other facilities in 100 new warehouses. Alicia Bowler Davis, who looks after Amazon's warehouse, has reported that the company is offering 1000 sign-on bonuses in some cities.
