Srinagar: The Bharat Jodo Yatra of former Congress National President and current Lok Sabha MP Rahul Gandhi ended in Srinagar on Monday (January 30). On this occasion, the Congress wanted to show strength by showing opposition solidarity, but their efforts suffered a major setback. Actually, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge had invited 23 political parties to attend the closing ceremony, but representatives of only 9 parties reached the end of Rahul's Yatra. The Congress was expecting that the parties to which the invitation has been sent would send their representatives to the function in Srinagar, but the efforts of the Congress to unite the opposition have met with disappointment on this issue. Let us tell you that the leaders of both the ruling JDU and RJD of Bihar did not participate in Rahul's visit. Congress has been surprised by this. However, the party definitely got relief from the fact that all its other allies like NCP, Uddhav Thackeray's Shiv Sena, JMM, and DMK joined the yatra. When the Bharat Jodo Yatra reached Maharashtra, Shiv Sena's Aditya Thackeray and NCP's Supriya Sule marched with Rahul. At the same time, Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut was also associated with Rahul Gandhi in Jammu. Leaders of Congress' alliance partners DMK and JMM also participated in the program in Srinagar. Let us tell you that Tiruchi Siva from DMK, D Raja from CPI, Omar Abdullah from National Conference, Mehbooba Mufti from PDP, N Premchandran from RSP, Kani N Navas from IUML, Mithilesh Kumar from JMM, Mithilesh Kumar from VCK participated in the closing ceremony of Bharat Jodo Yatra. Thirumavalavan and Shyam Singh Yadav from BSP also joined. It is being told that due to bad weather, the leaders of some parties could not reach Srinagar, who were likely to attend the rally. Although the leaders of some big political parties had already indicated to stay away from this program. At the same time, the opposition parties who reached the end of the yatra praised the leadership of Rahul Gandhi and said that he is a ray of hope for the country. Former Jammu and Kashmir CM and PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti and other opposition leaders praised Rahul Gandhi for the Bharat Jodo Yatra. Mehbooba said that Mahatma Gandhi had said that I see a ray of hope from Jammu and Kashmir. Today the whole country is seeing a ray of hope in Rahul Gandhi. DMK leader Tiruchi Siva said, through this yatra, the common people were reached and the message has spread that a new leader has emerged.
