Operation Destroy: Indian Army's operation against terrorists, 5 soldiers were martyred in the terrorist attack

Srinagar: Major action has been taken in response to Thursday's attack on an Indian Army vehicle in the Poonch sector of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. According to information provided by defence sources, the Indian Army and other security agencies had received information about the presence of 6-7 terrorists operating in two groups near the area in the Rajouri-Poonch sector where the incident took place yesterday.

Giving information, the sources said that the same group of terrorists was involved in the attack on the army vehicle on Thursday. In this attack in the Poonch sector, five soldiers of the Indian Army were sacrificed. According to information provided by defence sources, the Indian Army has launched several force teams with drones and surveillance helicopters. These jawans are conducting a search-and-destroy operation against the terrorists in the suspected area.

Along with this, it was told from defence sources that the relation of the suspected terrorists is being told from Lashkar and Pakistan. More information is being gathered regarding their entry route in the Poonch sector. Sources said that where the search operation is being conducted, there are many cave-like natural formations.
