New Delhi: The government has been conducting a massive operation to evacuate Indians trapped in Afghanistan since the Taliban regime began. Under Operation Devi Shakti, 110 Sikhs trapped in The Indian Air Force and Ministry of External Affairs, Afghanistan have been evacuated to India. Former Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee President Manjinder Singh Sirsa, who left the Akali Dal and joined the BJP, has informed that Sikhs will reach New Delhi from Kabul by a special aircraft.

According to Sirsa, Sikhs from Afghanistan who come to India by special aircraft will now be accommodated at Gurudwara Rakabganj Sahib. Sirsa has thanked PM Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah for evacuating Sikhs trapped from Afghanistan.
