New Delhi: A 27-year-old health worker died in Odisha on Tuesday, three days after taking the coronavirus vaccine, while the state health department said he had not died due to vaccination. On January 23, the person who took the vaccine dose died at Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (VIMSAR) in Burla in Sambalpur district. According to health department officials, a 27-year-old man from Nuapada district died of VIMSAR this morning. He introduced the corona vaccine on 23.01.2021. According to medical examination, the cause of death is not related to covid vaccination, officials said flatly. At the same time, two more people taking the corona vaccine have been in shambles. According to the health department, a 24-year-old woman from Nuapada district, who was vaccinated on January 23, fell ill after taking the vaccine, while a 23-year-old man from Jharsuguda district also fell ill after being vaccinated on January 18, both of which are now healthy. Meanwhile, all the districts were asked to submit their action plan for the next phase of vaccination from January 28 to February 10. As of Monday, 177,090 health workers have received the first dose of the corona vaccine and about 173,636 people will be vaccinated in the next phase.
