Dengue wreaks havoc in Nepal, number of patients increased

Dengue wreaks havoc in India's capital of neighbouring Nepal. To explain the seriousness of the matter, officials said that on an average, about 100 patients suffering from dengue fever are visiting hospitals in Kathmandu daily. Dr. Sher Bahadur Pun, head of clinical research unit at Sukhraj Tropical and Infectious Diseases Hospital, said on Thursday, one new case is coming out successively. He said that this has happened after the monsoon.

According to media reports, according to the records provided by Nepal's Department of Epidemiology and Disease Control, between July and November six patients suffering from mosquito-borne disease have died and 14,662 patients have been registered. Earlier, 3,424 people were infected three months ago.

According to the information recently revealed, many people in Nepal are being affected due to this disease. It is expected that appropriate and effective steps will be taken by the government for the disease, so that the solution to this formidable problem can be found.
