Lucknow: A major accident occurred after the truck overturned after hitting a mosque in Mahoba district of Uttar Pradesh. According to the report, a large number of buffaloes were in this truck. 40 buffaloes, including the driver of the truck, died due to the accident. Two other people sitting in the truck were also badly injured. At the same time, due to this accident, there was a jam on the highway for about 7 hours. The mosque is said to be located along the highway. The incident took place on Monday (January 9). According to reports, the incident took place in Village Sugira near Jhansi-Mirzapur National Highway in Kulpahar Kotwali area. Here on Monday morning, a truck was passing with 40 buffaloes. Meanwhile, the truck collided with a mosque located on the side of the highway. The collision was so severe that the driver died on the spot. Along with this, two people named Shahzad and Rajesh sitting in the truck were injured. Both the injured are said to be residents of Damoh in Madhya Pradesh. At the same time, the deceased driver has not been identified yet. As soon as the incident was reported, the locals along with the police started relief and rescue operations. 40 buffaloes have been recovered from the truck in dead condition. At the same time, both the injured have been admitted to the hospital, while efforts are on to identify the driver. A house and a shop located near the mosque were also damaged in the accident. The driver's body was badly stuck to the overturned truck. After a lot of effort, it was taken out. A video of the incident is also going viral on social media. In the viral video, a truck is seen hitting the mosque. The postal parcel is written on the back of the truck. Mahoba police have informed that treatment of the injured and other legal action is going on with the help of locals in this incident.
