Pak blames 'India's hegemonic designs' for strained ties

"Towards the immediate east, bilateral ties have been impeded as a result of the unresolved Kashmir conflict and India's hegemonic intentions," Pakistan noted in its first ever National Security Policy. The state of Jammu and Kashmir is barely mentioned briefly in the 48-page text.

"A just and peaceful resolution of the Jammu and Kashmir conflict is crucial to Pakistan's national security." The people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir have rejected India's unlawful and unilateral acts in August 2019.

"In IIOJK, Indian occupation troops continue to commit human rights violations and oppression by committing war crimes, crimes against humanity, and genocide." Moreover, India continues to spread misleading information about the Kashmiri resistance in order to conceal its illegal actions.

"Pakistan will continue to provide moral, diplomatic, political, and legal assistance to the people of Kashmir until they are granted their right to self-determination by the international community in accordance with UN Security Council resolutions," according the document.
