Pakistan denies reports that ISI chief met with Afghan Jihadi leaders in Turkey

KABUL: Pakistan has denied accusations that the head of its spy service met with Afghan Jihadi leaders in Turkey. The Pakistani embassy in Kabul has disputed accusations that the ISI commander met with Afghan Jihadi leaders Atta Muhammad Noor, Abdul Rashid Dustom, and Muhammad Muhaqiq in Turkey, according to a media source.

The embassy dismissed the reports as "false," claiming that "no Pakistani official has met with Afghan Jihadi commanders in Turkey." It was previously reported that ISI chief Lieutenant-General Nadeem Anjum met with a number of Afghan Jihadi leaders to discuss the formation of a "inclusive administration" in Afghanistan.

This comes as leaders from Afghanistan's Taliban-led government have urged exiled Afghan lawmakers to return home and "live peacefully."
