Pakistan spent 15 million dollars for Azadi March

Islamabad: The government of Pakistan has spent more than 1.5 million dollars in the 'Azadi March' of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) in Islamabad for 13 days. This information has been given by police officers. Officials told the local news channel on Sunday that the amount was to be paid to the contractors, vendors who were put on service to make security arrangements during the sit-in.

JUI-F held a rally and sit-in from 31 October to 13 November in the capital. In this connection, arrangements were made to stay, eat and transport for the security forces called from other districts.
