Pak's first Sikh police officer beaten, shared on Facebook

The first Sikh police officer of Pakistan claimed that after the property dispute with the government, he was forced out of his village house with his children and wife out of his helplessness. Daily Pakistan told in a report that Gulab Singh Shahin said in a video on Tuesday that he was released from the house of the Jewish Society of the Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee (PSGPC), the Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB), in his village located in Darra Chahal village of Lahore. 
 
Singh shared a video on Facebook. In the video, Singh can be seen appealing to the police requesting him to give at least ten minutes to this place where he is living from 1947. In the year 2011, Gulab Singh lodged a case of selling illegally selling Gurudwara property against Syed Asif Akhtar Hashmi. 
 
In this video, he said, "I am Gulab Singh, the first Sikh traffic police of Pakistan. This is being done with me like that with thieves and robbers. I was dragged out of my house" He said, "Tariq Wazir, who is the Additional Secretary and Tara Singh, former Chief of the Pakistan Gurudwara Management Committee, has done this work to please some people. In this whole village only I am being targeted and my house was evacuated. You can see that there is no turban on my head. They also snatched my turban and they pulled my hair."
