Ramallah: A Palestinian teenager was killed in an Israeli raid early Wednesday in the West Bank-occupied city of Nablus, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry. Mahdi Hashash, 15, was named by Palestinian officials, who also reported that he died of shrapnel wounds during an Israeli raid. The Israeli military did not immediately respond with a statement. Hashsh was listed as a member of the terrorist organization Al Aqsa Martyrs' Brigade. According to the Israeli rights organization B'Salem, 130 Palestinians have died this year as a result of escalating Israeli-Palestinian fighting in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, making it the deadliest year since 2006.
