New Delhi: International flights from India were scheduled to resume on December 15, but have been delayed due to Corona's new variant Omicron. These flights have been halted till further notice. Last year, on March 23, routine foreign flights in the country were halted because to corona. However, air bubble pacts with a number of nations were signed from time to time, and limited air services were launched between them. With roughly 28 nations, India currently has an air bubble treaty. India has signed air bubble agreements with 28 countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, Kenya, Bhutan, and France, from which international flights operate. Rajesh Bhushan, the Health Secretary, had previously raised alarm about the novel corona variant Omicron discovered in South Africa. He also addressed a letter to states and union territories in response to the recent loosening of visa restrictions, urging them to be vigilant owing to the rapid spread of the variation.
