Paris Olympics Day 8 : Manu Bhaker Eyes Historic Third Medal, Nishant Dev in Action, and More

Paris Olympics: On Day 8 of the Paris Olympics, all eyes are on Manu Bhaker as she aims for her third medal on August 3. The 22-year-old shooter has already secured bronze in both the 10m air pistol women's final and the 10m air pistol mixed team event alongside Sarabjot Singh. A victory today would make her the first Indian athlete to win three Olympic medals in an individual sport and the first to clinch three medals in a single edition of the Games.

The nation will also be hoping for success in archery, with Bhajan Kaur and Deepika Kumari competing after a narrow miss on Friday. Additionally, skeet shooters Anant Jeet Singh Naruka, Raiza Dhillon, and Maheshwari Chauhan are set to participate in their events.

Nishant Dev is another medal hopeful, competing in the quarterfinal of the men's 71 kg boxing event tonight. Sailors Shubhankar Sharma and Gaganjeet Bhullar will also be in action in the men's Round 3 event.
