An all-party meeting convened before the winter session

New Delhi: The Winter Session of Parliament is scheduled to begin on Monday. In order to ensure the smooth and peaceful functioning of Parliament, veteran leaders of several parties have reached the all-party meeting convened by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi. In this meeting, the issue of running the proceedings of Parliament in a peaceful manner will be discussed.

Leaders of various parties including Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Union Minister Thawar Chand Gehlot, Arjun Ram Meghwal are present in the meeting. An all-party meeting was also convened on Saturday by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, in which several leaders of opposition parties reached. Leaders of the opposition have clearly stated that the first session of the 17th Lok Sabha was named after the legislative agenda of the government.
