After testing positive for Covid-19 on April 26, Parno Mittra has now recovered from the effects of the disease. The actor-politician urges everyone not to panic if anyone tests COVID positive. “The more you panic, the more it will affect your health. And don’t rush to a hospital if you test positive. Please consult a doctor and follow his advice. The doctor will certainly prescribe hospitalization if you need it. Don’t panic unnecessarily and get admitted. One can recover by staying at home with proper care and rest. And please check your oxygen saturation level at regular intervals,” she shared during an exclusive chat. Asserting that mental health is equally important for overall wellbeing in these difficult times, the actress, who has been volunteering to help COVID-affected families, said, “Every day, so many people are recovering. We should stress on that rather than how many people are dying.” Speaking about her recovery, Parno said this period is most crucial. “The weakness remains, so one has to be extra careful. I was having a high protein diet and fruits at regular intervals. I was also on vitamins and other medicines as prescribed by my doctor. Eight to nine hours of sleep is also needed at this time to recover from the weakness,” she added.
