Kolkata: In a shocking incident, a man travelling in a train pushed another passenger out of a moving train after a minor altercation in West Bengal's Birbhum. The passenger was badly injured in the incident. Police have arrested the man who pushed him. The video of the entire incident was recorded by a man travelling in the train and is going viral on social media. The incident took place between Tarapith Road and Rampurhat railway station in Birbhum district. The two men were travelling in the Intercity Express from Howrah to Malda. Then there was a fight between the two over something. On seeing this, the matter reached a scuffle. Meanwhile, one of the passengers got angry and pushed the other person fighting out of the moving train. On Sunday morning, the passenger was seized from the track by the railway police in a bleeding condition. The injured passenger has been identified as Sajal Sheikh, a resident of Rampurhat in Birbhum. The railway police conducted a search and recovered Sajal from the railway line between Tarapith and Rampurhat railway stations and admitted him to Rampurhat Government Medical College and Hospital. Where his condition is said to be serious. A railway official said that the culprit has been arrested in this connection and the Government Railway Police (GRP) suspects that some other people were also involved in this crime. The incident took place between Tarapith Road and Rampurhat station on Saturday night, he said.
