New Delhi: On Wednesday, facing charges of terror funding, Delhi's Patiala House Court sent Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front chief Yasin Malik to judicial custody till May 24. During the hearing, the Tihar jail authorities also moved an application seeking direction to produce Malik through video conferencing due to security concerns. Earlier, Hurriyat Conference (G) chairman Syed Ali Geelani expressed concerns over the deteriorating health condition of Malik in New Delhi. Geelani said, as reported by Greater Kashmir, "If any untoward happens to him (Malik), rulers shall have to face the consequences." also read Kareena Kapoor reveals about the first person she informed about her pregnancy The Hurriyat Conference chief even condemned the continued grilling of his elder son Dr Nayeem Geelani by the Nation Investigation Agency (NIA), along with the other arrested separatist leaders in the terror funding case. It is to be known that NIA had arrested JKLF chief Malik on April 10 after the NIA court in Jammu gave the green signal for his custodial interrogation. Malik had been earlier taken into preventive custody by Jammu and Kashmir police on February and was shifted in Jammu's Kot Bilawal jail.
