Janata Dal United (JDU) is seeing a big setback before the assembly elections in Bihar. Shyam Rajak, the industry minister of Bihar government and the Dalit face of the party, has announced to leave the party. According to the information, Shyam Rajak was troubled by his disregard in the party for the last several days, so he has decided to leave the party.

According to the information received from the media, after leaving the party, Shyam Rajak will again join his old residence ie RJD, although official confirmation of this remains. Shyam Rajak will resign from the membership of the party after going near the Speaker at 12 o'clock on Monday. It is considered a big setback for JDU before the assembly elections in Bihar. Shyam was once called Lalu's special and Ramkripal Yadav's pair with him was popular as Lalu's Ram-Shyam. Rajak was close to Lalu Yadav, it can be guessed that he was a minister in the Cabinet of Rabri Devi Government of Bihar.

After joining Lalu-Rabri, Shyam joined JDU in 2009, he became MLA from JDU quota in 2010 and became a minister, but when Rajak became MLA from Mahagathbandhan in 2015, he got Nitish government for not made a minister. After leaving the RJD and joining the BJP, Rajak was made a minister again by Nitish Kumar, in such a situation, it is being speculated again that Shyam Rajak will once again take his old residence ie RJD before the election.
