Paytm becomes the largest company to issue FASTag, read details

Paytm Payments Bank (PPB) said that it has become the largest company in India to issue FASTag. The same company said that it has sold 30 lakh Fastags till now, showing the increasing pace of accepting electronic payments at Tall Plaza. Satish Gupta, MD and CEO of Paytm Payments Bank, is issuing a statement and information is being given about this. He said that 'this achievement shows that for your information, let us know how we are working to realize the dream of' Digital India 'of the government. We will continue to implement the digital toll payments in the country.

FASTag is an electronic toll collection system. It is operated by the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI). Under this system, toll is paid from prepaid or saving account through RFID technology. Paytm Payments Bank has targeted to reach the use of FASTag to 50 lakh vehicles by March 2020. If the company has informed that all the fastag issues have been done in the last one month.

In that, more than 40 percent of FASTag issues have been done by Paytm alone. The company has said that it is rapidly expanding its reach. Through Paytm FASTag, people pay toll tax directly from their Paytm Wallet. They do not require a separate FasTag wallet for this. It can be purchased through vehicle registration number and certificate. Paytm delivers FasTag to the registered address for no charge.
