Haridwar: The Kanwar Yatra, which runs during the Sawan month at the pilgrim town of Haridwar in Uttarakhand, has begun. Though Sawan will start from 17th July, Shiv Bhakta Kanwariya has reached the city of Haridwar and today, on the day of Guru Purnima, a large number of Kanwaris have taken their kanwar and travelled from Hari Pauri to their respective towns and areas with holy Ganga water.

Mamata, who is trying to persuade the upper castes as the polls draw nearer, implemented 10% reservation!

Travelling 400 to 500 km, the Shiva devotees will take Ganga water to Rajasthan and offer water to Lord Shiva. This time around 10,000 police personnel have been deployed in the Kanwar Yatra for security reasons, but the district administration or the Trivendra Singh Rawat Government of the State has made no arrangements for the convenience of the Kanwaris.

The arrangements made by the State Government are confined to meetings only. Roads have been turned into potholes, lack of basic amenities like toilets, so there is no one to tell you how the fair will be held. Even after this, the enthusiasm of the Kanwaris is not showing any lack of enthusiasm, the pilgrim city Haridwar is echoing with the slogans of every Mahadev and Jai Bholenath at this time.
