Samajwadi Party chief of Sambhal district, Firoz Khan, said “When there was a traffic jam, I stepped out of my car to have a look at her. Who knows, she would have even danced a few steps to clear out the traffic... Now, evenings in Rampur will now get colourful.”

Firoz further said, “When election mood sets in, people in Rampur are smart and they will vote for Samajwadi Party as Azam Khan has done a lot for the region. But they won't let go of an opportunity like this to enjoy. She (Jaya) has once again got an opportunity. So, she might even say ‘please tie ghungroo (anklet) on my feet and see my dance moves’. I am, in fact, worried that some poeple from my own constituency might go there and I don't want that to affect my voter base,”
